NEW: Angry and 'Emotional' Joe Biden Demands Israel Surrender to Hamas, Pledges to Pull American Support

Joe Biden had a “tough” call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday in which the American president demanded Israel surrender to Hamas “within a week or two.” He also pledged to pull support from Israel if there is any further “escalation.”

According to a new report, Biden was “emotional” and began yelling as he insisted that Netanyahu somehow secure a ceasefire with a terrorist government that keeps rejecting every ceasefire proposal.

At the end of the meeting with Netanyahu in the Oval office last Thursday, Biden became emotional, raised his voice and told Netanyahu he needs to reach a Gaza deal as soon as possible, three Israeli officials with knowledge of the meeting told Axios.

  • “Biden raised his voice and said he wants a deal reached within a week to two weeks,” a senior Israeli official said.
  • “Biden told Netanyahu that a hostage and ceasefire deal is the most important thing right now,” the Israeli official added.

If you’re good at math, you’ve probably already realized that “a week to two weeks” just so happens to be days before the Democratic National Convention is set to take place. Why does that matter? Because for the better part of a year, the expectation has been that left-wing Hamas supporters will protest and commit acts of violence at the event.

Biden is clearly hoping that a ceasefire will defuse the situation and spare his party the embarrassment. In other words, the President of the United States is demanding an American ally surrender to terrorists for political gain. That’s a wild development that would be a bona fide scandal if it involved a Republican.

Again, how is Israel supposed to secure a hostage deal when Hamas refuses to agree to one outside of securing total victory in Gaza as a condition? That’s never a question posed to Biden nor any other administration official, though it’s the most obvious one surrounding this ordeal. Israel has repeatedly offered lopsided deals that would heavily benefit Hamas and they’ve all been rejected. What’s left for them to offer except the complete preservation of Hamas as a governing authority? It would be suicidal for Israel to allow that.

As to the current threat from Iran, Biden went so far as to tell Netanyahu the United States will not help Israel defeat an attack if another “escalation” occurs. Keep in mind that the prior “escalation” was the killing of Hamas’ top political leader and a wanted Hezbollah terrorist who had an American-placed bounty on his head. Apparently, that was unacceptable to the president.

  • Biden then told Netanyahu the U.S. will help Israel defeat an Iranian attack, but after that he expects no more escalation from the Israeli side and immediate movement toward a hostage deal, the U.S. official said.

Biden also warned Netanyahu that if he escalates again, he shouldn’t count on the U.S. to bail him out, the U.S. official added.

Further, the report claims that Biden and his handlers are very upset that Netanyahu kept them in the dark about the assassinations mentioned above.

U.S. officials don’t mourn the deaths of either Hezbollah’s top military commander Fuad Shukr, who was involved in killing 241 U.S. Marines in Beirut in 1983, or Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, who celebrated the Oct. 7 massacre.

  • But they feel that Netanyahu kept Biden in the dark over his plans to carry out the assassinations, after leaving the impression last week that he was attentive to the president’s request to focus on getting a Gaza deal.

Of course, the Israelis kept the United States in the dark. Had they not, there is no doubt the plans would have been leaked to Iran by Biden administration officials. That was simply a risk Netanyahu and his country couldn’t take given how big of a target Ismail Haniyeh was.

There is no doubt that Biden and Kamala Harris see the ongoing war against Hamas as a political liability. That they are prioritizing their own thirst for power in this scenario is insane. It is not Israel’s fault that the Democratic Party is full of antisemitic radicals, and the fact that there may be riots at the DNC should play absolutely no role in any ceasefire agreement.
