If I had to describe my personal style, I’d say I strike a balance between classic and eclectic. I tend to avoid simply following trends—when I find a clothing item I could see myself wearing for years to come, that’s when I know it’s a quality purchase. But when the trend cycle does happen to sync up with my taste, I welcome the serendipity.
For instance, I’m hearing that the boho chic aesthetic is resurfacing for fall—but in my opinion, boho was never truly out of style. I’ve had an affinity for suede fabrics, cowboy boots, and unique waist belts for as long as I can remember, and I shamelessly wear them regularly. I’m all about balance, so I like to combine these pieces with classic wardrobe staples like crisp button-down shirts, wide-leg jeans, and knit cardigans to create my own unique look.
