Stephen Richardson is clapping back at social media users who “dare” to make inappropriate comments about his dog.
The season 7 Love Is Blind star, 34, had some choice words for an Instagram user after they commented on a photo of his dog, Clementine, writing, “Someone call animal control because god knows what this pervert does to satisfy his own selfish needs.”
Richardson did not take lightly to the comment, pinning it to the top of his page and responding, “DON’T YOU DARE COME AFTER MY F—ING DOG I WILL DESTROY YOU.”
He then posted a screenshot of the interaction via his Instagram grid on Friday, October 11, sharing a lengthy and stern warning to people who come after his pup.
“PSA. Anyone that owns a pet regardless of how you feel about ME as a make-believe individual should be absolutely disgusted by this level of degeneracy and hatred,” the Netflix star began, noting that “this one is a genuinely personal attack” he wanted to address.
“If you want to see genuine hostility about a subject or individual then I will show you hostility when it comes to my dog. All of you should really take a second to see just how over the line each and every one of you on MY comment sections are acting as grown adults,” he continued. “You wanting to vilify me for your own entertainment is one thing since you clearly can’t wait before getting the whole story but please for the love of got don’t be an actually low life form cretin.”
Warning social media users that if they “ever dare to attack my child and think you will get away with it,” Richardson went on to explain that he will “go to war” for his dog.
“Don’t you ever in your right f—ing mind go so far as to insinuate I am f—ing my own dog again. I hope you never experience anything of the same and I hope you sincerely thrive in everything you do,” he concluded. “Remember you might be loved but it will not be by me or Clementine. Now have a good day.”
The social media user’s comment came after the most recent episodes of Love Is Blind hit Netflix last week.
During episode 8, Richardson was confronted by Monica Davis, who he left the pods with as an engaged couple, over alleged sexual “kink”-fueled text messages he sent to another woman while “drunk” at a sleep test away from home.
“I truly am sorry for hurting you, for wasting your time, for coming on the show and doing this to you,” he said before he left their shared apartment for good. “I shouldn’t have come on the show.”
During an appearance on “The Viall Files” earlier this month, Davis, 37, reflected on her relationship with Richardson and how she was taken aback by his actions.
“I never in a million years would have expected that he would have done what he did,” she told host Nick Viall. “Such a big part of our relationship was just talking through my trauma. I was thinking about marrying this person in a matter of weeks, so I was not holding back. You don’t have a chance to leave a stone unturned, like, you have to address everything.”
She added, “I’m not kink-shaming; I just didn’t know. This wasn’t the person that I was sharing a bed with by any means. … I was taking this experiment so seriously, like, I was really in love with this person.”
