Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.
I’d consider sharing my fashion finds to be one of my love languages—it’s right up there with words of affirmation and quality time. It’s just how I give and receive love. When I pass a cute pair of boots in a store window, I snap a pic and send it to my best friend. If I see a stranger on the subway wearing heels I wrote about, I’ll compliment them and gab about the other shoes I love from that brand. Luckily for me, putting new products on people’s radars just so happens to be my career.
It’s a new season and I’ve scoured the internet for the best fall footwear, but the site I keep coming back to is Zappos. It’s a true treasure trove of on-trend seasonal styles from all my favorite brands. Tall boots, elegant pumps, studded mules, and more are sitting at the top of my wish list. I couldn’t contain my excitement, so I went through my entire Zappos shopping cart and curated 30 fall shoes that deserve your utmost attention below.
Are you ready to see this rich chocolate-brown suede everywhere this fall?
Michael Kors
Luna High Pump
This sculptural gold heel is speaking to me. It adds just the right amount of edge to an otherwise sleek pair of pumps.
Birkenstock
Boston in Suede
I see Boston Birkenstocks all over NYC this time of year, but never in this color. If you want to stand out in a sea of beige clogs, here’s your chance.
More metallics, please. This shoe style will continue its reign as we enter the holidays.
I’m envisioning these with double denim and a large suede bag.
Go wild. Animal print is a major trend WWW editors are tapping into this season.
Tory Burch
Mellow Stud Mule
These gold stud embellishments take your ordinary clogs to new heights.
Madewell
Dorchester Dimes Tall Boot
Not all tall boots were created equal (or comfortable). This sleek kitten heel helps.
Wedges are the controversial shoe trend people love to hate, but I’m here to change the narrative with these beauties.
FYI, these also come in black and red.
Marc Joseph New York
East Village
When your black loafers need a break, slip these on with your favorite white crew socks.
All of fall’s best trends—slingbacks, metal details, brown suede— wrapped into one shoe. You’re welcome.
There’s something so whimsical and fun about these.
Vagabond Shoemakers
Hedda Leather Bootie
The black booties hiding in the back of your closet just met their replacement.
New Balance Classics
WL574V2
The dad sneaker lives on (and comes in five other colorways).
Fashion people are heavily endorsing moto boots this season. Shop accordingly.
The contrasting gold heel and exaggerated buckle make these shoes look way more expensive than they are.
If boredom strikes and you’re ready to spice up your boot collection, the Arya boot will be waiting for you.
Reebok Lifestyle
Club C 85
Not to be dramatic, but these are one of the most comfortable sneakers I own. And for this under-$100 price point, I’d gladly pick up another pair.
Birkenstock
Arizona Big Buckle High Shine
When I think of fall sandals, Birkenstocks are always top of mind. The bigger the buckle, the better.
Lug-sole loafers, you will always be popular.
Marc Fisher Ltd
Mlgarissa
The clock is ticking and the holidays will be here before you know it. Step your shoe game up early.
Speaking of the holidays, I’d wear these with a maxi skirt, sweater, and silver accessories.
Veronica Beard
Valentina Oxfords
This colorway is chef’s kiss.
Lauren Ralph Lauren
Carla Burnished Leather Tall Boots
Mark my words, western wear is here to stay.
Lauren Ralph Lauren
Adrienne Mule Pumps
Tory Burch
Cap-Toe Pave Slingback
The black-and-navy color combo has transitioned from fashion faux pas to controversially cool, and I’m here for it.
I see these sneakers all over the city and I’m still not sick of them. Is this a sign? My shopping cart says yes.
Allow me to introduce you to your new office flats.
