Daimler Buses debuts ‘H2 mode’ in range extender buses

Daimler Buses has unveiled a new hydrogen-only ‘H2 mode’ for its eCitaro G e-buses, allowing them to operate exclusively on hydrogen fuel cells without requiring external battery charging. The development aims to give operators a back-up plan if chargers are not operational while also boosting range.
