As Archtober 2024 kicks off in New York, here are AN’s events to attend

Archtober, New York City’s official architecture and design month, kicked off this week. The peripatetic festival lasts through October 31. It offers more than 1,500 events across the city. Architecture boat tours, lectures and round table discussions on topics related to architectural history and sustainability, film screenings such as Robin Hood Gardens, visits to new buildings like Inwood Library, and other opportunities are open to the public as October transpires and the leaves turn from green to orange.

This year’s theme is “Tracing the Future” which “delves into the evolving landscape of NYC through affordable housing, sustainable design, infrastructure and more.” AN rounded up the events we as a media platform are participating in below. To peruse the full list of festival events click here.
