Blake Lively stunned in a monochrome white ensemble at the CDFA Awards.
The actress, 37, arrived at the event on Monday, October 28, with designer Michael Kors on her arm. She wore Kors’ designs: a white bodysuit, sequin wrap skirt and blazer, pairing the look with a diamond necklace and sparkly, red-soled Christian Louboutin heels. Lively’s toned legs peeked through her skirt, and her blond hair was styled in big, dramatic waves — Bond Girl meets ’90s supermodel style.
Lively’s bombshell appearance was quite the departure from the bright, floral outfits she trotted out while promoting her dark romantic drama It Ends With Us over the summer. At the time, she took sartorial inspiration from her character, florist Lily Bloom, and flaunted a number of flower-embellished dresses and accessories.
But her loud, exuberant style failed to drown out the speculation about her rift with It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni, with whom she shared creative differences on the set of the hit film. She laid low amid the controversy and resurfaced on Instagram in late September following a month-long break.
Since the release of It Ends With Us, Lively has enjoyed some downtime with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and bestie Taylor Swift. Lively and Reynolds were spotted at Swift’s Rhode Island mansion on August 25, which also marked Lively’s 37th birthday.
Two months later, the couple attended two of Swift’s Eras Tour shows in New Orleans. On October 25, they were spotted partying in the VIP tent at the Caesars Superdome, and the next night, they were seen dancing to the track “Look What You Made Me Do,” released by Swift, 34, in 2017 as the lead single from her album Reputation.
A fan video caught Lively, dressed in a black outfit and gold statement jewelry, singing every word of the song, enthusiastically raising her hands as she enjoyed her friend’s performance.
Lively and Reynolds, who have been married since 2012, have attended multiple stops along Swift’s blockbuster tour and often brought their eldest three daughters. (They share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and son Olin, who was born in early 2023.)
